1st Generation: Machine language
- The first generation of programming language is a machine language.
- No translator was used to compile or assemble the machine language.
- The main benefit of machine language is that the code a user can writes can run very fast and efficiently.
- It is lot more difficult to learn that higher generational programming language,and it is more difficult to edit if errors occur.
- Sometimes referred to as machine code or object code.
